Producers Harvey Mason and Damon Thomas of Underdog Entertainment Lead All Star line up to Fundraise for Inner City Industry

Stars, both celestial and of celebrity status, align to direct Inner City Industry's (ICI) mission of providing emotional, social and professional development to present and future youth generations within Los Angeles. Leading the way with scholarship contributions are Harvey Mason and Damon Thomas of Underdog Entertainment who, along with R&B phenoms Omarion, Marques Houston, and Lloyd will kick-off Rhythm & Soul Live! showcasing additional musical appearances by other bright stars.

Rhythm & Soul Live! will launch on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at The Music Box (aka Henry Fonda Theatre) located at 6126 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood CA 90028.

Transitioning beyond grass-roots promise, Inner City Industry highlights Cultural Understanding, Curriculum Reform, and Economic Development, respectively, as its 501(c)(3) organization mandates. Through successful fundraising, ICI will deploy certified Street Team Mentors into middle and high schools to provide peer mentoring support during after school hours while identifying youth in crisis and directing them to the appropriate social service partners of the organization.

Red carpet arrivals and a silent auction at Rhythm & Soul Live! will begin the highly anticipated evening at 7:30PM. As sundown will mark the start of the Roof Top VIP Donor Reception at 8:30PM, the comedian warm-up will provide a change of pace at 9:45PM. Opening acts for Rhythm and Soul Live! will take main stage at 10PM. An intermission for ICI announcements and check presentations is scheduled for 11PM, and the Rhythm & Soul Live! Jam Session will finally close out the show and after party.

Musicians Harvey Mason and Damon Thomas have made records for both up and coming superstars and industry legends. Everyone from Chris Brown to Luther Vandross, Justin Timberlake to Elton John, Mary J. Blige to Aretha Franklin, Tyrese to Lionel Richie, Beyonce to Patti Labelle, and Mario to Babyface have all come to The Underdogs for hits.
